The Legend of Southern Palawan

It could be the heroes in our lives, such as generals, police officers, health workers, and more. There are modern heroes in our world, but we must remember the sacrifices and love for the country of those who fought in the past, even giving their lives for the freedom of the nation. The Day of Valor, also known as Araw ng Kagitingan or Bataan Day, occurred on April 9, 1942, when American General Edward P. King of the American Army surrendered with Filipino, Chinese, and American soldiers. They were forced to March, which we call the Bataan Death March. During this march, many died due to dehydration, starvation, and other causes before they could reach the camp. Memorials and museums dedicated to honoring the victims serve as poignant reminders of the atrocities committed and the sacrifices made during World War II.
