KLL holds its 28th Commencement Exercises

  By: Laidel Hizola Photo By: Alona Myka Balbastro Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) celebrated its 28th Commencement Exercises at the Lipa Academy of Sports, Culture and Arts (LASCA) on June 19, 2023 with the theme of "Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa 28th Commencement Exercise  Serving the Community with Prestige and Purpose, Creating Innovation, Inspiration and Impact".  The procession began with the candidates for graduation, followed by the awardees, administrative personnel, college officials, Vice Presidents, Deans, faculty, members of the Board Of Trustees, College administrators, and distinguished guests. Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) officers led the entrance of colors. Moreover, Ms. Jingel H. Leynes, the College Registrar, presented the candidates for graduation. Mr. Mario Carmelo A. KLL ROTC Unit holds Graduation Ceremony and Change of Command

  By: Kimberly Nodera Photo By: Alona Myka Balbastro Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) conducted the Basic Cadet, Cadettes, and KLL ROTC Officer’s Graduation Ceremony and Change of Command last June 9, 2024 at LASCA Convention. The ceremony was led by COL Harold V Hernando PAF (GSC) together with the entrance of colors supervised by C/CPT Anady La Rosa 2CL. Moreover, Former Corps Commander C/COL Shaine Dublin Alfarita 1CL expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the ROTC program in an online interview. "Fulfilling my duties and responsibilities as the corps commander feels incredibly rewarding and humbling. It's a culmination of years of hard work, dedication and the support of my fellow cadets and alumni. Celebrating 126th Independence Day: Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan

By: Kristine May Ramirez Photo By: Gio Anderson Laylo Lipa City took part in the celebration of the 126th Independence Day at Plaza Independencia under the theme, "Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan." Mayor Eric B. Africa emphasized the importance of using freedom to address some of the country's most pressing issues. "Sa Araw ng ating Kalayaan, ipinagdiriwang ang kasarinlan, ang kalaban natin ngayon ay climate change at malnutrisyon", he stated Lt. Col. Supremo Villareal, in his speech, paid tribute to the sacrifices of those who came before us. "In the words of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalinggan ay hindi makakarating sa paroroonan", he added. The ceremony ended with the release of white doves, symbolizing the nation's enduring commitment to peace and freedom, as they gracefully took flight across the Plaza.

KLL Dragons Clutches PLSP Green Mynas

  By: Jhon Vincent Compio Photo By: Jhon Lenard Abawag Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa Dragons boxed out Pamantasan ng San Pablo Green Mynas In their face-off in the One Day Tune-Up Women Basketball Game, 44-40,held last May 31. Despite of having an 8 players facing a 15-woman pool, Andrea Perile, from the College of Communication Arts topped the Dragons in their raid, with 15 points. "Maganda ang naging laban ng tune up game, nagkaisa kame ng mga kateammates ko pagdating sa laro kahit walo lang kame e kinaya namen na lumaban sa 15 players ng PLSP, kahit pagod na pagod ay lumalaban parin kame hanggang sa makamit ang pagkapanalo," point guard, Perile concluded. After the ball game, Dragons will enhance their armor as they wait for the final date of the LCUAA.

KLL Dragons kick out PLSP

BY: Kimberly Nodera PHOTO BY: Jhon Lenard Abawag Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) Futsal Women's Team dominated the floor as they won over Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo, 5-2, in One Day Tune-Up game held last May 31. Dragons tightened their defense resulting to an epic win of 4-1 in first half and recorded a 1-1 score in the second half.  The game was concluded with a determination to have a successful campaign for the LCUAA.
