KLL holds its 28th Commencement Exercises

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) celebrated its 28th Commencement Exercises at the Lipa Academy of Sports, Culture and Arts (LASCA) on June 19, 2023 with the theme of "Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa 28th Commencement Exercise Serving the Community with Prestige and Purpose, Creating Innovation, Inspiration and Impact". 

The procession began with the candidates for graduation, followed by the awardees, administrative personnel, college officials, Vice Presidents, Deans, faculty, members of the Board Of Trustees, College administrators, and distinguished guests.

Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) officers led the entrance of colors. Moreover, Ms. Jingel H. Leynes, the College Registrar, presented the candidates for graduation.

Mr. Mario Carmelo A. Pesa, the College Administrator, conferred the degrees and programs upon the graduates, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping their future paths.

Hon. Eric B. Africa, the City Mayor and Chairman of the KLL Board of Trustees threw a message to Batch 2024 graduates. 

In response to the challenge, Mr. Eric R. Aguila, a student with a Bachelor of Secondary Education - Major in Filipino and the Magna Cum Laude of Batch 2024, expressed his gratitude and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead despite the challenges faced by him and his fellow graduates in their years in college. 

"Mga kapuwa ko magsisipagtapos, batid ko na ang araw na ito ay ang araw na matagal na nating pinakahihintay. Ang araw na kung saan ay aanihin na natin ang matamis na bunga nang ating itinanim na sakripisyo, pagtitiyaga, kasipagan, at determinasiyon. Alam ko na hindi naging madali ang ating mga pinagdaanan bago makarating sa puntong ito", Mr. Aguila said in his speech.

The respective college deans, Dr. Aquilino D. Arellano - Vice President for Academics, Research, and Extension, Mr. Mario Carmelo A. Pesa - College Administrator, and Hon. Eric B. Africa - City Mayor and Chairman of the KLL Board of Trustees, the honor of presenting the diplomas and awarded the academic honors to the deserving graduates.

As the ceremony drew to a close, Mr. Mark Eugine A. Mejico, a student of Bachelor of Arts in Communication and one of the Magna Cum Laudes of Batch 2024, led the "vow of allegiance".
