Del Mundo PHOTO BY: Alona Myka Balbastro World AIDS Day, is a celebration every first day of December, where they commemorate people around the world to unite to help and support individuals who were affected and have lost their life to HIV and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). World AIDS day marked an important step in the fight against the epidemic. Moreover, it was the first-ever Global Health Day that raises awareness among individuals resulting to promising actions towards those victims suffering from these diseases. The first celebrated World AIDS Day took place in 1988, and today marks the 35th year to honor this annual event. The red ribbon is the major international symbol of World AIDS Day, demonstrated as commitment of the victims to the fight against the harmful infection caused by sexual contact. KLL-ROTC Cadets Join 3rd ARCens' Run for a Cause 2023

The ROTC unit actively supports the fundraising initiative for a chosen charity organization and other associated Civil Military Operations. The event successfully brought together various schools, including the 322nd Department of Air Science and Tactics, KLL-ROTC Unit, contributing to the campaign's overall success. In recognition of their outstanding performance, the KLL-ROTC Cadets received awards in different categories. C/2LT Norman Nigel Khuuya Casapao, a 2nd-year student from College of Computer Studies(CCS), secured the 1st place in the 3K category. In the recent SK elections held on October 30, 2023, a remarkable number of KLL students successfully secured leadership positions in their respective barangays.
