“Super powers are actually real; for in our voices are our strongest tool.” Our stand and ability to influence other people is one of the best things that a person could do. And no one holds the right to limit another body, when we lay-down on the factual field.
It was year 1981, when the PEN International’s Writers in-prison committee, began the annual “Day of the Imprisoned Writer.” Every 15th of November, we commemorate the supportive pillars of just-information sharing. This day intends to recognize and support our fellow writers, who stand for Human Rights to freedom of expression. The day of the imprisoned writer aims to stand for those people who are sentenced to jail, in related for standing up strongly with their writing profession.
Being with this generation, that influencing is almost in every corner of the society; it really is important to have people who stand for what they know are right. Because influencing and informing are way too far from one another.
If we have the voice of truth, then we shall continue developing and spreading it out for the masses. That freedom must be served by our own hands and shall not be held-captive by other people. We create our own paths, therefore, we should not be enclosed by the fear limitation when it comes to prevailing the truth.
As we commemorate the Day of the Imprisoned Writer this 15th day of November, may we all continue being a brave companion of freedom of expression. Let us all continue making our own “BOSES” be heard.
