This day is significant for Filipinos as it commemorates the establishment of the First Philippine Republic, which was settled in Malolos, Bulacan during the Philippine Revolution in 1899. It was a momentous occasion, as it was the first independent government in Asia, with Emilio Aguinaldo serving as its president. The establishment of the First Philippine Republic was a result of the hardships and sufferings that our ancestors experienced at the hands of the invaders. Many Filipinos were unable to voice their grievances, and so they chose to fight for their freedom and justice. Despite the challenges and obstacles, their sacrifices helped shape our lives and gave us a great legacy to be proud of. The festivities include bazaars, contests, and parades of all sorts, which engage the government, academe, and private sector in a collective effort that is much awaited by residents and tourists alike. Aside from the Grand Float Parade which happened early this morning, there are also Procession and Novena Mass of San Sebastian, and Lipeño Nights sponsored by Mayor Eric Africa. On the other hand, a set of activities such as Lipa Music Fest 2024, Fashion Show, Food Fair, Lipa City Music Fest, Mutya ng Lipa 2024, Yabangan Nights and many more had commenced and ran from January 11-19, 2024.

They had diligently prepared to deliver their best performance to the Lipeños. These writers greatly contribute to our society as they create and refine screenplays for dramas or movies through their creativity and collaborative skills. They are essential to the narrative and play a positive role in media communication. This solemn occasion serves as a poignant reminder of his ultimate sacrifice for the nation's freedom and the ideals he fought for until his last breath. This is also to honor the contribution of one of our heroes, Dr. José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda or better known as Dr. Jose Rizal.  Like Rizal, our nation's hope begins with us. Our love for the country is not only measured by pen and paper, guns and weapons but also by advocating for the good and development of our country.  On this Rizal Day, let us come together and promise to work together to make the Philippines a better nation. Together with the young people, let us unite to pursue the cause of Gat Jose Rizal! Dakila ka, Pepe!

The song reminds me of people who need to cross seas for the sake of their families or their loved ones. When I listened to it more closely, I discovered that it was more than just your average love song, which was my initial assumption. "So kiss me and smile for me; tell me that you'll wait for me; hold me like you'll never let me go." This song line reminds me that it is not a forever goodbye but a goodbye for now. Another line from the song that stuck in my head was, "Everywhere I go, I'll think of you. Every song I sing, I'll sing for you." Proper waste segregation must be strictly followed to decrease the volume generated daily. Presently, The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa is one of the participants of the City Environment & Natural Resources Office's program, trash to cash. Before this project, all departments of KLL brought their marketable and profitable actions during the weighing and collecting of wastes. Inclusive departments have given corresponding environment points for trading junk based on value.  Mr. Ricardo B.
