An ever-increasing population also increases pollution. Sustainable living might be costly, but there are ways to mitigate the irreversible effects of it. Proper waste segregation must be strictly followed to decrease the volume generated daily. Presently, The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa is one of the participants of the City Environment & Natural Resources Office's program, trash to cash.

Before this project, all departments of KLL brought their marketable and profitable actions during the weighing and collecting of wastes. Inclusive departments have given corresponding environment points for trading junk based on value.

Mr. Ricardo B. Libon, the Head Officer of CENRO, said that we should use the Reuse recycling program and utilize proper waste management. He also mentioned that everyone needs to consider the value or essence of social responsibility.

"The progress made a significant impact, from trash to cash. Moreover, as the Government governs KLL, I am looking forward to seeing KLL as the role model of all existing schools in the city", he stated.

The Trash-To-Cash program serves as a way to ease all waste problems while empowering the neatness and cooperation of all participants. It creates a sustainable life and environment for everyone.
