The faculty members of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL), student representatives, and colleagues expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the respected Sir Felicisimo B. Diadio Jr., former Dean of the College of Teacher Education, and Engr. Samson Rosita, a former professor in KLL, as they conduct a retirement party in KLL Annex Campus today.
During the welcome remarks, Dr. Bibiana Jocelyn D. Cuasay, Dean of the College of Education and Allied Sciences (CEAS), eagerly advised the retirees to take their retirement as an opportunity to enjoy their time off from the institution and finally take time for themselves and their families.
“Remember to enjoy the small things, explore new places, make time for yourself, entertain your friends and family, and nap frequently,” Dr. Cuasay said. “We welcome you all, and we hope that although you may have retired, we will not get tired of living, of loving, of going places, of exploring, and of experiencing new things not only for yourself but for your loved ones.”
Aside from that, the colleagues, students of the retirees, and their family also voiced their heartwarming messages, bearing witness to the passion and dedication of Sir Diadio and Engr. Rosita to the institution.
Napagsabihan din [nila ako] minsan,” Sir Anthony B. Llanes, the Vice President for Office of Student Affairs and Services, shared. [Rosita].”
Furthermore, the College Administrator, Mr. Mario Carmelo A. Pesa, became emotional as he expressed his gratitude to the respected retirees.
Mr. Pesa recognized the significance of the presence of the retirees throughout his growth as a College Administrator, stating that they are the first person who challenged him and pushed him. He also narrated their past experiences and how these people contributed to his growth.
“But along the way, I saw his dedication and trust sa akin. Iyon ang hindi ko makakalimutan. Ibig sabihin, somebody trusted me.
Subsequently, Sir Diadio and Engr. Rosita received their Certificate of Recognition. They also watched an Audio Visual Presentation (AVP), which was presented in honor to them.
Lastly, the event concluded with a song directed to the retirees, which was performed by the Association of Science Majors (ASciMa).
