KLL Taekwondo Athletes Haul Medals in the 12th LCUAA

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) Taekwondo athletes demonstrated their prowess at the recent competition, With a remarkable tally of one gold, three silvers, and six bronze medals, leaving an indelible mark in the 12th Local Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (LCUAA) held at Laguna University on October 10.

The KLL Taekwondo team's success story unfolded with the Individual Poomsae category, where Mc Gheros Briones, a third-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student, clinched the silver medal, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. Dian Fe Malasaga, a second-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student, added to the glory with another silver medal in the Women's Individual Poomsae category.

The dynamic duo of Mc Gheros Briones, a third-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student and Franklyn Paula Lingao a second-year Bachelor of Arts in Communication students hailing from different academic disciplines, combined their skills to secure the bronze medal in the Mix/Pair Poomsae category, highlighting the spirit of teamwork and collaboration among KLL athletes.

In the Kyurogi category, KLL athletes showcased their mettle in various weight divisions, Ashley Jetonso, a third-year Education student, displayed his prowess in the Fin Weight Division, earning a well-deserved bronze medal. Jhon Mark Fallarcuna, a third-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student, demonstrated his agility and determination, securing the bronze medal in the Fly Weight Division.

Charlie Caponpon, a third-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student, exhibited exceptional skills in the Bantam Weight Division, clinching the silver medal. Mike Limwel Molinyawe, a second-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student, showcased his talent in the Feather Weight Division, earning a bronze medal. While John Carl Yomero, a fourth-year Education student, added to the medal tally with a bronze in the Welter Weight Division.

Lastly, In the Women's Kyurogi category, Franklyn Paula Lingao, a second-year Bachelor of Arts in Communication student, claiming the gold medal in the Bantam Weight Division, marking a significant achievement for the KLL Taekwondo team.
