International Nurse Day is celebrated on May 12th every year to honor nurses worldwide. This day provides an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation for the selfless service provided by nurses in the healthcare industry. This year's theme is "Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care," which highlights the economic impact that nurses have on the healthcare system.

Nurses are healthcare professionals who provide care to sick individuals and supervise other healthcare staff, including doctors, dentists, and surgeons. They are a vital part of the hospital setting, as they take care of every patient and ensure their well-being. Nursing is a demanding field that requires dedication and compassion, as nurses save lives and maintain the health of others.

Nurses play a crucial role in advocating for patients' rights and ensuring they receive quality healthcare. Beyond their medical duties, nurses often act as emotional support systems for patients and their families during challenging times. Their empathy and understanding create a comforting environment that aids in the healing process. Nurses are not just caregivers; they are also educators, empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being through knowledge and guidance.

Heroes who wear white and a stethoscope!
