KLL Futsal Women's Team Strikes Gold in Spectacular Win

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) Futsal Women's Team dominates the podium with impressive gold medal in the 12th Local Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (LCUAA) Games 2023 at Laguna University, October 10, 2023
KLL Futsal Women's Team bounced back with an epic win of 3-1 against Taguig City University and secured another victory against Gordon College with a score of 5-0 in the finals. Their outstanding performance on the second day ultimately led them to become the overall champion.
On the first day of the 12th LCUAA Games, the KLL Futsal Women's Team showed their dominance by defeating Gordon College with an impressive score of 11-0. It was a fantastic start to the competition for them. But it was on the second day that they truly showcased their resilience and determination. Despite a loss in their first match against Taguig City University,1-3.
Andrea Amaro, a third year Bachelor of Science In Criminology(BSCRIM) athlete, was declared as the most valuable player(MVP) in the tournament,alongside with her teammate Myra Laylay, a second year from same department,was secured as the best keeper on the game.
The team did their best and excel in their respective roles, with the members that contributed on their win, Andreda Bobadilla, a third year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), Ronalyn Recto, a first year and Catherine Linatoc also a first year from same department. Mylene Bautista, a second year Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCRIM) athlete, Lyca De Los Reyes,a second year Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) athlete, Princess Medy Maullion, a second year Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BACOMM) athlete, Kyla Mission, also a second year and Rizza Pacinos ,a first year athlete from the same department.
The team showcased their skills and determination to win to make the institution proud.
