KLL commemorates BIGLAKASAN 2022

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL), after more than two years, is celebrating another in-person BIGLAKASAN this November 21-25, 2022 with the theme: "BIGLAKASAN 2022: Ensuring a Balanced and Active Life for All".

Five colleges of the institution --- College of Criminal Justice (CCJ), College of Communication Arts (CCA), College of Business Administration (CBA), College of Computer Studies (CCS) and College of Teachers Education (CTE) participate in the said event.

The first day of the event kicked off with "Fun Run for a Cause 2022" at 5:00 am followed by a parade of all the departments and the opening ceremony in the Lipa City Sports Academy (LCSA) oval.

“Today marks one of the anticipated events in our academic year. Ito po ang ating BIGLAKASAN 2022. So today, this is the perfect time para sa ating lahat. To showcase our talents and skills. To highlight the spirit of camaraderie, teamwork, hard work, brotherhood, and cooperation. Sana manatili saatin ang magagandang values na ito ngayong umaga. This event is for all of you. Let’s be humble about our winnings at the same time. Let’s have the courage to accept defeat. That’s the true spirit and value of sportsmanship," said Sir Mario Carmelo A. Pesa, College Administrator, in his opening remarked.

The institution’s varsity players were also introduced then there was lighting of the torch and the oath for sportsmanship as spearheaded by John Vincent M. Umali.

The KLL PEP SQUAD also had its intermission number before the Yell Competition started.

YELL COMPETITION WINNERS:

2nd RUNNER UP - College of Communication Arts (CCA)

1st RUNNER UP - College of Business Administration (CBA)

CHAMPION - College of Criminal Justice (CCJ)

Mr. and Ms. BIGLAKASAN 2022 talent portion was held at 3:00 pm in the LCSA oval with the candidates showing their different skills and talents such as dancing, singing and spoken poetry. Results are to be announced.
