KLL applauds CTE’s March 2022 LET passers
Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) congratulated
the success of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) as soon as the
Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) and Board for Professional Teachers
(BPT) announced the results of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) as taken
last March 2022.
KLL commended its passers for the March 2022
LET with passing percentage of 71.13% and 64.95% percentage for Elementary and
Secondary Level respectively.
In a Facebook post from the KLL’s official
page, the institution expressed its appreciation.
“Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa and the College of
Teacher Education are so proud of you for this new achievement, and wishing
everyone’s success in your advocacy and teaching profession,” said the social
media post.
Both Elementary and Secondary levels stayed
above the national passing percentage in the last January 2022 LET.
“I think it's because of the experienced and
great professors and instructors and the eagerness of the students to learn,”
Ms. Sheryl Javier, a KLL alumni and March 2022 LET passer, said on an
interview.
The examination was held through face-to-face
interactions, but PRC divided the takers into batches. Health protocols were
strictly followed and some of them submitted negative swab tests results, some
forms and agreements.
Ms. Javier, who took the board several times
and luckily passed this time, said that at the back of her mind, “I’ll get
those three letters when it’s my time. Giving up is not part of my option.”
“(I am) Grateful. Although I don't know how
but I expected it. I just know that this time I'll make it. This is the time
that God has promised that's why I'm very grateful to the Lord and to the
people who believed in me,” she added.
According to her, the future educators of KLL
could surpass the passing percentage of this year’s LET passers in the next
five years since the internet is much accessible for the students and there’s a
lot of way for the future takers to help themselves learn and not just rely on
books and their professors.
The licensure exam was held on March 27, 2022 with a total of 70, 833 examinees nationwide. 12,179 or 17.19% of which had passed the test. Furthermore, the oath taking of the passers were held virtually last May 24, 2022.
