Castro speaks up for women in KLL

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) honored women this March 2022. Ma'am Evangeline O. Castro, Instructor III from the institution, shared her perspectives in line with the said celebration. 


 Ma'am Castro, President for Faculty of Association, was asked about what she thinks of being a woman as the toughest role to which she said that, "Being a woman is hard. It has different roles but even so, the most important thing is how we attend and how we fulfill those roles." 


 According to Ma'am Castro, she has spent life as a woman fulfilling ang thanking the Lord each day that she's alive and can continue the role as a woman to her children and to the society as well. 


"I would like to extend to the women out there that even if the society sometime has its different perspectives to woman, that women are weak, this celebration imparts to us women that we are something that is as someone that is valuable not only to the society but to the eyes of God." Ma'am Castro, as the interview closes with a message of empowerment.


The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), with the theme: WE Make CHANGE Work for Women, has organized activities for this year like: Pulso para sa Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran Online Poll, International Women's Day Celebration, #JuanaSays: Agenda ni Juana edition, Musika ng Kababaihan Fridays (MNKFridays) and NWMC Viber Sticker Pack.
