On 28th of April 2022, an A.Y. 2020-2021 graduate with the degree in Business Administration from Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa named Deomar R. De Chavez, 22 year old from Ibaan, Batangas, was featured in The Philippine Star for his works as a fast food crew and an online bangus vendor while maintaining a good remarks for being an academic awardee.
In an online interview,
De Chavez emphasized that being a dreamer has always been his role in life and
just like any other, he experienced difficult circumstances that made him
persevere and exert efforts to grant all of his ‘somedays’.
He also said that one
should have to be responsible and dedicated in order to grab opportunities that
only come once. Despite the obstacles that hinder, stay focused and motivated.
then may mga activities sa school like sobrang hirap pag sabayin. Time
ginagawa ko all in all, worth it naman," De Chavez added.
When the last question
was asked, he addressed all the students and his fellow KLListas, with message
of inspiration that he could share.
"Walang imposible
basta naniniwala ka sa sarili mo. Try hard as you can at maniwala sa ating
sarili.
kaya grind and make a hustle and be the best version of yourself,” De Chavez
stated.
As of now, De Chavez
manages his uncle's grocery store and lending corporation in Bohol, as a pay
back for supporting him and his family all throughout.
