The best way to respect a farmer is to respect his produce by not wasting it.

Every year on August 6, we mark Farmworkers Appreciation Day, an occasion to acknowledge and appreciate the significant role that farmers play in agriculture and the broader food system.

Farmworkers are essential to the agricultural industry. They engage in physically demanding activities such as planting, growing, and harvesting crops. Their contributions are vital to both food security and the global economy since their labor guarantees a consistent supply of food.

There are several ways to honor farmworkers on this day, such as paying them a personal visit and saying "thank you" or bringing attention to their important work and the struggles they face.

So, let's take a moment on this Farmworker Appreciation Day to express our appreciation to those who really keep the world fed.
